Vintage dress and Kate Spade armadillo earrings and key chain
These were taking a couple of weeks ago on a particularly hot Florida day (I should say, a typical Florida day). The armadillo earrings and the boat were given to me by my lovely friend Noor, who I am sure I will introduce you to soon enough, if I haven’t already.
At the very last minute I saw Moonrise Kingdom by Wes Anderson and it would be no little lie if I told you wanted to see it again. If you believe in love and adventures, I recommend you go watch it.

I am interrupting this unintentional blog hiatus to tell you that I am a little bit in love with Grimes. I read an article about her in Dazed and Confused before I heard her music and what I like most is that she comes off as unpretentious; she is off-beat in a good way and her interest in making her music so connected to herself. I can’t say I like every song on her album Visions but it takes me to a different place and at this stage in my life, its a good thing.

I love Rick Ownes and the way he talks about his collection; it remains utilitarian while also a work of art. The colors are dark and luxurious, which is where my comfort level is at its highest. The veils are weird, but you know I like that sort of thing. I had been dreaming of summer until now.

Beautiful angel Liu Wen.
Z is for Zac Posen
Remember a few posts back (a month ago?) I said something about a project I had in mind?… of course you don’t. Regardless, it’s Fashion’s A to Z, thought up by none other than my very own Kristen. She’s kinda fab and I dedicate this to her.
Trying to figure out how to wear scarves. Can I pull it off, or… can I pull it off?
“Well, how can I find inspiration?” they would ask.
“Look around you!” I would say. “Look out the window. Go for a walk. Go to a movie. Go to a museum. Go see a show. Read a book. Go to the library. Take the Circle Line. Have a conversation.”
