Can you spot Emma?

I work in a lab with three cats and Emma is by far the furriest. She is also the least social and likes to hide lest you try to molest her with love and scratches. Needless to say, she was not happy when I invaded her cubby hole space.

Right now: Watching Pride and Prejudice and eating Dulce de Leche ice cream.

Today I went to the Tampa Art Museum by myself. Do you know who else hangs out by the museum by themselves? Homeless people.

I enjoyed the Bearden exhibit, most of his works being dated 1940-1970, consisting of collages that had a rather modern feel to them.

I had a pleasant walk through downtown to my car to discover a bright orange parking ticket. I’ll consider reading the signs next time.

This is the geekiest thing ever and I want one.

There are certain things that one has to give up when growing older (mature?) but I refuse to let booty shorts* be one of them.

*The term booty shorts was first introduced to me by a 11 year-old girl I mentor as a big sister. You can see why we get along.
