Tonight I have spammed your dash. This was the early stages of a mix-media fox painting I made. The fox is now red.

Tonight I celebrated the birth of a dear co-worker over a Greek salad and belly dancers. I wore a sweet (fake) leather jacket I got at a really good deal that I could not resist.

Unfortunately, Dutch Magazine is no longer in production, but this is a reminder to keep an eye out for smaller, creative publications out there. I think with the amounts of editorials coming out each year it’s difficult to come up with something new and unique (props to the current photographers/stylists/etc still out there), but Dutch had something good down. Photo #6 down was one of the best pinup-style modern shoots I have encountered and the use of nudity in the magazine was tasteful too. I’m sure with time we’ll see more great publications, especially with the increase of young masses showing interest in fashion.

Thursday there was some nice weather, even though still on the warm side. USF can be pretty boring, but sometimes it’s kind of pretty too, so I sat outside for a bit. Check out those anatomically correct bulls! Can’t see them? Come visit!
My companion was a pair of pointed heels that have been neglected at the back of my closet for some time. Lately chunky heels and rounded toes have been all over, but the 90’s are ever so slowly coming back, as denim shirts would strongly agree.

That very same day I went to open mic night with Valentina at Cafe Hey. There were so many talented musicians! My favorite was the first girl that performed; she sang a really pretty song that was actually a bit sad. Her voice was on the deep side and it sounded great. There was also a guy with a style that was a bit country, but he did a medley of rap songs that was hilarious. He even sang Scrubs by TLC and made all of the girls sing along! Gotta love a sing-along..

After open mic we ended up going back to Valentina’s dorm for some ice cream, and I found this sign on a room occupied by guys:

I wonder if it worked?
Also, before I leave off, I would like to comment that A) no matter what I say, I seem to always go back to coffee because it is just too good! and B) my taste buds were really confused by this no sugar, naturally flavoured water. It smelled like blueberries but tasted like filtered water. I still have it and still can’t decide how I feel about it. Anyone had it before?

Please be waiting for me baby when I come around.
We could make a lot of lovin’ ‘for the sun goes down.
The really nice thing about being alone at work so early in the morning is that I can sing 70’s songs out loud with no judgment.
