Love Interruption - Jack White

We Are One

Hello all!

I would like to introduce you to my lovely friend Rosie, if you haven’t heard of her already. In her words, a Peaceful Warrior fighting the battle for her life, she has many talents, like writing poetry and cooking delicious-looking vegan food, but really, there is so much more! Read more about her @ We Are One

On her blog, she writes:

I will be here —> we.are.one@inbox.com
And you email me a question you have, or a concern, or just a pondering about life. Perhaps it’s something you feel too shy or embarrassed to ask others, or too scared to ask yourself. Or perhaps you just needed a loving awakening to realize that someone out there cares for you, even if we’ve never met.
So write me, and I will write or video back. :)

She is such a beautiful person, inside and out, and I wish you to go learn more about her :)

Don’t Gotta Work it Out - Fitz and the Tantrums

Recently I watched Midnight in Paris (hats off to Woody Allen). The character of Owen Wilson is struggling with finding his place in the world, which ideally would have been 1920’s Paris in the rain. The 20’s are certainly one of my favorite decades, but ultimately my golden age is that of the 60’s through the 70’s (in the USA… not particularly interested in communist Bulgaria… there were a lack of discos). Needless to say I love music coming from this time; thankfully there are bands who carry the sounds of this era today, like the blues rock music of The Black Keys, or the soulful pop of FITZ & The Tantrums (see above). Any band with a sax is okay by me. Tell me if you too wanted to rock back and forth to this song.

P.S. At some angles Michael Fitzpatrick kind of looks like Will Ferrell.
