After months and months of nagging, Scott finally took me sailing. Now you see I can’t really take myself sailing as it is a learned skill I don’t possess, though Scott really tries to teach me. Sooo, yes, it would be fair to assume he did most of the sailing work. And me? Well, I worked on my tan.

P.S. Please note how close we were to the water. We were held up by a thin net suspended less than a foot above the water.

What binds a man to land or water, I wonder, if not that man himself?

I am bound to be true

The temperature was exceptional that day! I was neither hot, nor cold; winter wear is great, except that oftentimes I am hiding behind a great big coat. Spring-like weather is much more bearable.

Wearing white Express blouse, Zara pants, and black patent Aldo oxfords.

Photos taken by none other than Boyfriend, also known as Trey Penton. Check out some of his photography!

We took a bike ride down Davis Island to enjoy the water and to take some photos. His photos (taken by me) coming soon!

Flower, how typical; Boats; Me, working my parka and layers

Trying to stay warm in cold temperatures, whilst the weather has been confusing my now thin Floridian blood, I’ve been trying out this thing known to Northern parts as layering.

You see, dear reader, I come from a far off Eastern Europe where a thick duvet of white snow covers the vast land in December. Once upon a time I could stand the cold snow, but for many years since my ass has been sweating in hot Florida summer days.

Believe me when I tell you most people here only know how to wear about one to two layers. I know this because even in the unusually cold weather, which is prime time to wear all your wardrobe, I see people trying to stay warm with only but a tee and a sweatshirt. Circumstance has deemed that many Floridians shall have no sense of warmth or fashion (even the non-elderly, full-of-life-and-their-parents’-money young people at my University).
